Otherside Studios is a professional sound recording studio that was established in the heart of Central New Jersey by a dedicated team of musicians, studio technicians/owners, and sound engineering professionals whose sole interest was to provide you with a musician's dream- a recording studio that cares for the musician and nurtures the music. Everything at Otherside's mastering studios is "Artist Oriented" and specifically designed to allow us to help you MAKE YOUR MUSIC HAPPEN. In 1995 the cement was poured for the foundation of Otherside Studios. Since that time, the space has been used as a rehearsal studio, a live sound recording studio, and a digital mastering suite. As the years passed, the sound engineers and musicians that were working in each field decided to combine their expertise and began looking at how to make the most of their space and their skills. After years of artistic design and collaborative development, Otherside Recording Studios opened the doors of its new state-of-the-art facility.

In keeping with our promise to "feed the artist" we use the best equipment currently available in our mastering studios. Ingenuity and old-fashioned know-how allow for a grand blending of the Digital and Analogue equipment that have made great sounding recordings for over half a century. The art of recording with Pro Tools and the phenomenal plug-ins that are used with it has been mastered and combined with the age old practice of analogue "reel to reel" mixing and mastering.

Of course, the heartbeat of our mastering studios does not ultimately reside in our modern technology or our dynamic appearance, but in the group of "musical scientists" that give life to the entire operation. With years of on-the-job training, our family of technicians and producers know exactly what buttons to push and what dials to turn when honing in on your desired sound. The studio musicians that assist our team have all received different awards for live performance, and several of the records that have taken advantage of their assistance have earned radio time and recognition worldwide.
